And that just how can we understand that something has just turned up, whether it is intergenerational or otherwise? If we're not connected in with our bodies and we're not symbolized in the minute, just how would certainly we even know? Like, going back to the very starting, we can be in injury and we don't also recognize that we remain in trauma.
And so currently we can begin to be curious concerning hi. If I do that five point check in every day and then I can go, I see that I have a tendency towards sensation kind of foggy in the morning.
What is that? What is that protecting me from? Where did that originate? When did I initially begin really feeling that means? Or that's the energised domain. If we're searching in the somatic or the physical domain, perhaps it's this kind of chronic tightening around my diaphragm and being curious about that holding.
These usual areas. Or possibly it's the tendency to hold my breath. Well, when did I begin holding my breath? Where is that? For me, in EMDR, we refer to this as a FloatBack procedure where we're kind of following the symptom back to its origin. Yeah. Stunning. Arielle as we start to make our way towards a final thought in our discussion, I simply want to return around to we've touched on several different things, although they're likewise interconnected.
I believe that maybe the big takeaway that I would certainly like around us, around this, is that the tale does not have to finish here. Like with any trauma story, we get to be an active participant in shaping what is the end of the story.
